How they work...
We'll provision up and leave Youghal at 10, following a short safety briefing.
Out in the bay we'll run through some boathandling drills like MOB Recovery and Sail Set & Trim... anything you feel you'd like to do really!
Next it's berthing at Ardmore, Ballycotton or hove-to in the bay for lunch before some more sailing then heading for home, all secured at 17:00 (that's 5pm for landlubbers)

Bearing in mind that we want you home for tea we're limited to a trip of no more than about 25 miles keeping these idyllic villages within reach.
Ardmore:
From the boat cove the beach is only a short walk away. A seaside village, Ardmore boasts the old Coastguard Station, St Declan's Cell and Holy Well.
Walk along the cliff path past a ruined church, the Samson Wreck and a couple of old lookout towers. On a nice day it's quite an interesting walk.
Coffee / Lunch at the Cliff House Hotel or simply sip a wine taking in the magnificent views including Ballyquin Strand and Mine Head Lighthouse to the east.

A rocky spur thrusting out into the sea, its calm and sheltered harbour contrasts with its wild Atlantic cliff side, giving variety in scenery and climate. Ballycotton has pure air, clean seawater, incomparably beautiful views and the tranquillity of being at the end-of-the-line.
