Objective
This course is intended to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to safely navigate a boat by day and night in coastal waters with which you are familiar.
It is intended as preparation for:
> The ISA Advanced Sailing Certificate (Level 4) and
> The Advanced Powerboat Certificate
It is an ideal background course in preparation for the theory element of an instructor pre-entry assessment.
Previous Knowledge / Experience
Participants should hold either of the following ISA certificates...
National Powerboat, Improving Skills, Competent Crew or Helmsman (motor).
Duration
16 Hours or 2 Days (some centres cover this in 8 hrs but not to the same standards)
