Sail in light wind with the assistance of your instructor.
Previous Knowledge / Experience
No prior experience or knowledge is required. It is a good idea to have a level of knowledge equal to the Taste of Sailing course - though not essential.
Duration
Intensively over 2 days or 5 days in a summercamp format.

What to Bring:
If you have a wetsuit bring it, if not don't worry... we have a selection.
A towel and a pair of shorts /swimwear are good for inside the wetsuit.
We provide PFDs / Lifejackets.

Explain what clothing & equipment you should wear. Don a Personal Flotation Device, Parts of a boat and assist with rigging, Basic Knots and coiling a line, Launch & Recovery,
Afloat:
Paddle in a straight line, Capsize action, Points of Sail, Basic Rules and Terminology, Tidal Height basis, Onshore & Offshore winds, Light winds and High Winds, Safety for beginners and what courses to do next.
This course includes the material taught on the Taste of Sailing course.
